Sustainability
As a responsible manufacturer, we are always looking for ways to improve our sustainability. Working with NHS England in line with PPN 06-20, NHS Wales - Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, and NHS Sustainability Action Scotland gives us a clear road map to enhance the journey that is key to our continual improvements.
Action on climate change, modern day slavery, sustainable procurement and social value underpin all our decisions on a daily basis.

Considerate operations
We have made a major investment in new, more energy-efficient, machinery for our production area. For example, our all-electric Negri Bossi injection moulding machine offers energy savings of up to 80% when compared to conventional hydraulic drive solutions, as well as substantially reducing cycle times due to fully overlapping movements.
We have also installed more efficient hydraulic injection moulding machines and variable speed compressors. Gas heating control systems allow us to keep the shopfloor comfortably warm without over-heating and wasting energy, dramatically reducing our CO2 emissions.
