Cleaning Advice:
We understand the requirements for changes in infection prevention and control and the introduction of new cleaning procedures and solutions is dynamic within the healthcare environment, care is taken to reflect new/ additional procedures and solutions into our technical information and we encourage on going communication with all our stakeholders to ensure our products offers comply with the latest infection prevention and H & S recommendations.
As the original equipment manufacturer products are designed and manufactured to BS/EN standards in materials proven best fit both functionally and environmentally suitable.
Disinfectants used within current hygiene protocols, at the manufacturers recommended dilutions, are safe for use on all components used within the Medstor range of products offer, for the duration of their life cycle and do not impact on the integrity of their functionality and appearance: Including and not limited to: ECOLAB ACTICHLOR PLUS, Clinell Sporicidal Wipes, Clinell Universal Sanitising Wipes, 6.0g CHLOR-CLEAN Tablets, 1.8g Effervescent Haz-Tab Tablets, Difficil- Working Solution.
Hydrogen Peroxide vapor and UVC light sanitation are also permissible for use.
Plus- Polycarbonate products can be processed though all NHS washing plants where the drying cycle reaches 90°C products have a top end tolerance temperature of 120°C. Polycarbonate can be processed through the autoclave with an operating temperature at 120°C.
Abs products can be processed at a top temperature of 80°C.
