For IV fluids
Drip stands are essential equipment wherever an IV fluid needs to be administered. They are designed to hold a bag of fluid or medicine that is being delivered intravenously to hospital patients at a steady flow.
The Medstor stainless steel IV pole comes with a choice of two and four hook configurations to suit the needs of the clinical team.
The fully mobile base enables the IV pole to be taken directly to hospital wards and treatment rooms, allowing it to be quickly in use at the point of care.
It also has a simple and easily deployed handwheel height adjustment, so can be swiftly set to the height required.
Robust stainless steel construction makes the IV pole easy to clean, in line with hospital infection control practices in place to prevent healthcare-associated infection (HCAI).
The secure and stable stainless-steel design of Medstor IV poles conforms to the European Directives Medical Device Directive 92/42/EEC-Class 1 BS3619-1976 Stability Test.
Theatre power pods
Medstor theatre power pods are a multi-functional, mobile operating theatre aid. In addition, they feature modern, stylish design to enhance the theatre environment.
The space-efficient, compact design of the theatre power pods is built around an IV pole, used for hanging IV drips for intravenous delivery of liquids and medicines.
The IV stand has been redesigned by the in-house Medstor design team to also feature a variety of accessories, including useful single or twin power sockets or a robust removable bin/container.
An inbuilt LED disc light reduces potential trip hazards by illuminating the pod footprint and generally brightening the operating theatre area.
Pod units come with a push handle and are very easy to manoeuvre around the theatre, with medical-grade swivel castors for high end applications. The castors also increase the IV pole stability through a total lock brake stem.
Pod stability is further enhanced by the weighted anti-tilt mobile base.
